Course Description

Course Objective: You will create a database model based on relationships between tables that hold data. You will automate tasks based on scripts, work with functions and data found in external data sources. In addition, you will publish your database on the web and provide utilitarian features to users.

Target Student: This course is for students who have some experience using FileMaker Pro 10, but are finding that their needs for managing data exceeds their current capabilities. This course is also relevant for students who need to share databases with other users on a network or over the Internet.

Prerequisites: Before taking this course, students should have completed the FileMaker® Pro 10: Level 1 course or possess similar knowledge. In addition, they should be familiar with the basic functions of their computer’s operating system. Students should also have basic word processing skills, such as copying and pasting text, formatting type, and so on.
