Course Description

You are familiar with computers and how they work. Computers have contributed to the rise and spread of the Internet, which has now become the driving force for networked societies around the globe. In this course, you will be introduced to the latest version of Internet Explorer to take full advantage of all that Internet has to offer.

Course Objective: You will use the tabbed browsing feature to browse the web and access the information you desire. Internet Explorer 7 provides you with a user-friendly interface and enhanced security features for a safe and secure browsing experience.

Target Student: This course is designed for persons with a basic understanding of Microsoft Windows and the Internet, who need to learn how to use Internet Explorer 7 to navigate the World Wide Web.

Prerequisites: This course assumes that you are familiar with using personal computers and launching programs. You should be comfortable in the Windows environment and be able to use Windows to manage information on your computer. Specifically, you should be able to launch and close programs, navigate to information stored on the computer, manage files and folders, and select text. Knowledge of Windows Vista OS is recommended but not required.

Delivery Method: Instructor led, group-paced, classroom-delivery learning model with structured hands-on activities.
