Visiting Harvest Valley Market
We are sure you’ll have a great time at Valley Harvest Market, but we thought we’d share a few tips that can help ensure the best possible experience:
- Do dress according to the weather. The market is an outdoor event, so you can expect all kinds of weather, from early-morning frost to blazing heat.
- Don’t get dehydrated! During warmer months, many vendors will be selling bottled water at their booths.
- Do park in the lot just behind the market or in the lot behind the ballpark.
- Do bring sturdy shopping bags or baskets to help carry your purchases back to your car. We recommend something with a shoulder strap to free up your hands.
- Do bring small bills so it is easier for the vendors to give you change. Bringing along a few coins doesn’t hurt either.
- Do come early for the best selection.
- Do come after 10:00 am to avoid the crowds. The busiest times at the market are between 9:00 am and 11:00 am.
- Don't bring your pets to the market! We know you love your doggies, but we ask you not bring them into the market.
- Do ask questions: How is it grown? How do you cook it? Who has a certain kind of product? Our vendors love getting to know their customers and are happy to share details about their goods. If you have a question that a specific vendor can’t answer, just go to the Manager’s table in the middle of the market. We’ll be happy to help.
